Connie L. Lyon, Certified Public Accountant
Connie L. Lyon, a certified public accountant, has over 30 years experience in the accounting industry. Prior to joining Sherrin Fielder, CPA, Connie was employed at Hopkins, Tameron, Hostal, LLC, a public accounting firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Connie has also worked as the Chief Financial Officer for AREÁD, a Scottsdale based land developer, where she was responsible for financial reporting, tax planning, accounting and audit functions for the company and various other joint venture entities.
During earlier years, Connie worked for public accounting firms, specializing in taxation, and tax planning, for homebuilders, land developers, professional practices, various other small businesses, professional athletes, and high net worth individuals. She also has experience in financial and estate planning, and trust income tax work. She also holds, (or held) the following licenses: Series 7, Series 66, Insurance, and Arizona Real Estate License
Connie received her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Throughout her career, Ms Lyon has been active in the community volunteering her expertise to organizations including Hon Kachina Council, where she served as past treasurer and board member. She also served as former president, treasurer and board member for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.
In her free time, Connie enjoys golfing, hiking, travel, and her best friend Chloe (Chocolate Lab).
